Ballet Arizona Leaps into the Discovery Triangle

The School of Ballet Arizona broke ground this morning at 2835 East Washington Street for the new 45,000 square foot facility. The new facility will feature:

• State of the art studios
• 299 seat performance space
• Costume shop and production warehouse
• Administrative, school and artistic office space

Executive Director, Alison Johnston, was quoted in a recent press release stating, “Ballet Arizona’s new home will allow us to expand and develop our educational programs, providing an invaluable opportunity to transform our educational role in the community.”

Located along the Metro light-rail, the new facility has yet to release an opening date but is currently gearing up for the 2012-2013 season. More information can be found at www.balletaz.org.
