GateWay Emerging Technologies Incubator

Starting a business in today’s economic climate is a challenge, especially when that company requires extensive funding and support. GateWay Community College, located in the Discovery Triangle, is not letting those challenges hinder success. Instead, the college is opening avenues of opportunity for local technology and bioscience start-ups.

The Emerging Technologies Incubator at 38th and Van Buren is set to open the summer of 2011. The rentable space will provide research labs, meeting rooms and other spaces that might otherwise be difficult to secure as a start-up business.

This is a tremendous opportunity to further growth of knowledge-based industry clusters within the Triangle. The Emerging Technologies Incubator has the potential to foster economic growth beyond the Triangle limits as well. Companies renting space at the Incubator will also benefit from small business start-up services including business and technical support, guidance and mentoring, and networking opportunities.Companies can apply for space beginning early next year.
